No Pain No Gain - Ragdoll Sandbox
More games to play
No Pain No Gain - Ragdoll Sandbox is a free browser physics sandbox where your stickman earns coins through suffering. Every bump, scrape, and collision racks up your total, so the more chaos you build, the more you collect. No download, no account. It plays in your browser on desktop, mobile, and Chromebook, so it works unblocked at school or work as long as browser games are allowed.
What is No Pain No Gain - Ragdoll Sandbox?
This is a physics sandbox game with an incremental twist. You place obstacles in a play area, then a stickman tumbles through them. Coins are generated by friction: the longer and rougher the contact, the more you earn. You start with a stickman poised on a ledge and a blank field below. Place a staircase and watch the coins trickle in. Spend those coins on more items, extend the course, and chase a higher total. The stickman moves on its own; your job is building the gauntlet.
Controls for building your course
All interaction is mouse-based. Drag and drop obstacle pieces from the panel onto the play area, then adjust zoom to place them accurately.
| Action | Control |
|---|---|
| Place obstacle | Drag from panel, drop on play area |
| Zoom in | Scroll wheel up or pinch out |
| Zoom out | Scroll wheel down or pinch in |
| Start run | Press play after building |
Obstacles and what they do to your stickman
Each item creates a different type of friction or redirection. Picking the right combination keeps the stickman in motion longer.
| Obstacle | Effect on stickman |
|---|---|
| Staircase | Basic tumble path; good starting piece |
| Rotating saws | Traps the stickman and grinds out lots of coins |
| Spinning hammers | Redirects movement to a new direction |
| Springs | Bounces the stickman upward or sideways |
| Bombs | Explosive impact; sends the stickman flying |
| Rotating chains or wheels | Catches the stickman and reverses direction |
Earning more coins: the core strategy
Coins come from friction, not height. A stickman that falls straight to the ground earns almost nothing. The goal is to trap the stickman in loops of contact: between rotating saws, bouncing off springs into a hammer, then caught by a chain. Build horizontally and vertically, not just downward. As your coin count grows, new obstacle types unlock, letting you design denser and more profitable courses.
Tips for higher payouts
- Place rotating saws next to a staircase early; they trap the stickman and produce a steady coin flow.
- Build up and sideways, not only downward. The longer the path, the more contact events occur.
- Use spinning hammers to redirect the stickman back into an obstacle cluster rather than letting it escape.
- Avoid wide open gaps. Free-falling earns nothing; every surface the stickman touches is a payout opportunity.
- Unlock bombs once available; the impact and scatter they create can chain into several other obstacles.
